The Master of Science program IT Security (ITS) is designed to respond to the high demand for IT Security. ITS study program and the modules are designed by Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (h-da) and lectured by professors from Germany, Accreditation: ASIIN (The Accreditation Agency for Study Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics) Degree: Master of Science in IT Security
The Master Program in Global Finance and Economics (GFE) is in cooperation between VGU and Goethe University, Germany. Accreditation: AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Degree: Master of Science in Finance and Economics GFE Program offers structured training in line with best international practice, combining cover- age of state-of-the-art methodology in Finance and Economics with hands-on international experience to prepare our students for the probing challenges facing financial markets and the modern economy.
The Master of Business Information Systems (BIS) program is a part-time specialized training program structured over five semesters.
Combining the two fields of information technology and business administration, the goal of the program is to produce good masters of technology management, not just from the perspective of setting up technology systems. Students learn and practice methods of analyzing, optimizing, implementing, and controlling technology-driven organizational structures. Teaching also focuses on soft skills development, team building and working, how to coordinate projects, presentations and real-life case studies.
Global Production Engineering and Management graduates go on to assume leading positions as technology managers, functioning successfully in international value-added chains. The qualifications acquired during the study are directly taken from the job descriptions of technology managers in the global business environment.
The study program promotes technical competencies in engineering disciplines, development of manufacturing processes and tools, modeling and simulation, quality control and economic evaluation.
Students complete the program with a master's thesis, which involves an in-depth exploration of relevant topics concerning SME development. During this time, data collection is undertaken and an evaluation of the research results must be submitted as a report. The last semester involves students preparing their master's thesis on a topic selected by the student with the approval of their supervisor.
Students must travel to Leipzig University, for a minimum of 4 weeks to participate in the research colloquium. This is a great opportunity to visit their Alma Mater. In addition, this allows them to exchange ideas and consult with their German supervisors during the ﬁrst stages of their master's thesis.
The graduates have in-depth knowledge of the current processes in water and wastewater technology as well as water reuse in the municipal and industrial sectors, together with hydraulic engineering. The competencies in the field of water reuse are unique selling point in the field of water management in Asia and especially in Southeast Asia. They also included in the area of operation of these techniques in water-technical plants. They are competent in the field of water management with all its facts. The competence applies to countries in Southeast Asia as well as in Europe, Africa and other areas with water shortages (Gulf States) in rural as well as urban and industrial areas.
Computational Engineering is an interdisciplinary field that provides advanced methods to solve complex engineering problems with the aid of computers. Within two years, students will receive an extensive education on fundamentals of applied mechanics, engineering mathematics and programming algorithms. Graduating students will be capable of pursuing careers in manufacturing, civil/petroleum/aerospace engineering, or, especially, pursuing a doctorate degree for further promotions in academia.
This is a 2-year full-time study program which includes three semesters of coursework and one semester of master thesis under the guidance of supervisor(s). The teaching language is English.
Courses rated using European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The program with 120 credits. German degree obtained from Hochschule Karlsruhe - University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
In this program, lectures are held full-time during the week from Monday to Friday. The total of 30 modules will be finished after 18 months. The Master thesis takes six months to complete resulting in the total time of two years to finish the Master's program.

Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) is a full-time two-year (4-Semester) joint-degree Master Program offered by Vietnamese-German University (VGU) and Technical University of Darmstadt (TUDa).
The general concept of sustainable development has in the past most often been broken out into three constituent parts: environmental, economic, and sociopolitical sustainability. In the last years, more recently, it has been suggested by some researchers and institutions and at least by the United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) that a more consistent analytical breakdown is to distinguish actually four parts of ecological, economic, political, and cultural sustainability.

From an shoe developer with finance background, applying and getting scholarship from adidas’s supplier to attend Global production Engineering and Management (GPEM) program in Vietnamese – German University (VGU), then going to Technical University of Berlin, Germany for master thesis has been an amazing journey that I experienced for two years in VGU. Every effort in GPEM course is just for one thing, that is the best education, the creation of qualified generations who will be valuable candidates in the field of engineering and production managements. It let you know no matter who you are, where you from, only your dedicated efforts and gained knowledge will distinguish you from the rest. Now, it’s time to light yourself on fire with passion, do your best to actively create amazing miracles in your own life, because miracle is another name for the dedicated efforts.
The SUD program at VGU has been an incredible growth experience for me, as the program familiarizes students all aspects of urban development. Even better, there is not a better city to study and be around transformative urban growth, than Ho Chi Minh City. It's exciting to witness the growth of the city, and even more exciting to be a part of it!
