EEIT Student project: IoT kit for monitoring VGU’s server room
To avoid the worst scenarios, we must supervise the server room's conditions. Therefore, an IoT system, or a smart monitoring system for more specific, is required to automatically keep track of necessary conditions and generate actions when needed.
BROADEN THE FIELD OF RESEARCH PROJECT WITH INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
DESL project is the first ERASMUS+ program conducted at the Vietnamese-German University. This partnership is a great step in the process of expanding the scope of VGU’s research projects and establishing our position as a research-oriented university.
BUILDING SATELLITE GROUND STATION: A PIONEERING PROJECT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS AT VGU
Recently, the satellite ground station project has attracted many interest and participation from both the bachelor program and master’s program students in Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Mechatronics and Sensor Systems Technology (MSST) department. The team member includes Võ Thành Đạt, Trần Anh Khoa, Nguyễn Minh Dũng, Lê Tự Quốc Nghi, Trần Lê Hoàng (all from ME bachelor program), with Nguyễn Văn Hóa Vũ (a student from the MSST master’s program) as a leader. This project, under the guidance and supervision of professor Võ Bích Hiển, professor Liu, and Mr. Đỗ Hữu Minh Hiếu, the lab engineer, has fulfilled the proposed criteria and has become the first milestone in astronomy study at Vietnamese-German University.
NEW PROJECT ON WATER TREATMENT FROM VGU STUDENTS
Environment science and water treatment have always been one of VGU’s essential directions in research. Therefore, we encourage not only the research staff and lecturers but also our students to participate in. One of our latest projects on the subject matter comes from one from Mechanical Engineering program, but with the passion for the environment and a new approach to water treatment solution, he had successfully created the textile wastewater treatment block with the electrochemical method.
FLOODING IN URBAN DEVELOPMENT – NEW PROJECT ON DEVELOPING AND ASSESSING TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES
Regarding the subject of urban development in Viet Nam, there has been one tremendously practical factor that was not mentioned very often – urban flooding.
