University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm is VGU's new partner university


A new partner has been added to VGU's network for student exchange: the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm (HNU). The high-profile partner institution, located in Bavaria, offers VGU students state-of-the-art Higher Education, practice-oriented teaching and learning, and a close connection.

The Vietnamese German University (VGU) is the 110th international partner university of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Science. On 21 June 2023, HNU President Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser and the President of the Vietnamese German University, Prof. Dr. Tomas Benz, signed a general cooperation agreement and a student exchange agreement.

HNU welcomed the President of VGU as well as the Deputy Head of Student Affairs cum Manager of the International Office of VGU, Dr. Berndt Tilp. HNU President Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser was joined at the signing ceremony by Prof. Dr. Elmar Steurer, Vice President for Internationalisation, Verena Seitz, Head of the HNU's International Office, and Cornelia Häusler, her deputy.

In addition to student exchange, other options for cooperation were also discussed, especially short-term stays such as excursions and joint double-degree programmes.

"This will enable us to offer our students exchange options at another excellent international partner university. We look forward to lively mutual exchange and enriching cooperation in teaching and research," says Prof. Dr. Elmar Steurer.
